Dinner 6:00PM - 9:00PM. Ox-Bow School of Art.

This summer, Ox-Bow invites you to the Plein Air Picnic series, every Friday from July 17 - August 7. Join us for an intimate, al fresco dining experience and support the country's oldest continuously operating artist community: 110 years and counting!

We are offering Friday dinner, featuring a generous prix fixe menu for $75 per person, including an adults-only beverage of your choice. Tables are arranged beneath tents across our gorgeous lagoon-side meadow and on the screened-in porches of our picturesque inn.

Under the direction of Head Chef Erin Chapla, meals are composed from a voluptuous array of seasonal delights, showcasing the very best talents of our extraordinary chefs. Friday dinners will be served from 6 p.m. until our renowned sunset! Your dinner will include a picnic platter, sides, dessert and a limited wine pairing of your choice. Additional cocktails and other beverages will be available for purchase at our meadowside bar, The Golden Hour. Dining will be accompanied by an auditory experience provided by our talented in-house DJs.

After your meal, join us for an artmaking experience:

Friday nights mosey over to our glassblowing studio for demonstrations by our gifted glass staff, Jonathan Chi, Connor O’Brien & Lucy Gillis.

Lastly, we invite guests to visit our Painting Studio Gallery for an exhibition on Ox-Bow’s history or shop Ox-Bow-made glassware, table linens, ceramics and much more.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience is available by reservation only, and is extremely limited!

In keeping with the times: our meal-service respects COVID-19 service standards. Reservations are limited to 6 people per table, and tables are spaced generously across the property for privacy and safety. Food is prepared and served by staff wearing PPO, with limited contact. Our public studios are open air and all indoor buildings will have a limited capacity.
