Expand your journey with us and stay in one of our suites. Our signature "Safari Suite" takes you on a journey into Africa, beautifully decorated with authentic South African artwork. It includes a large sitting area, glass tiled shower and claw foot tub, complimented by a large private deck set in the woods. The second suite replicates an American log cabin, reproducing the serenity of the north woods. It includes a stone-mantle gas fireplace, viewed from either the two-person Jacuzzi or the comfort of the bedroom, plus a separate sitting area, wet bar and fridge. Spice up your life in our new Moroccan Suite, an expansive suite with a separate sitting area, double sided gas fireplace, two-person Jacuzzi, plus wet bar and fridge, complemented with authentic Moroccan art work.  The remaining rooms each have their own character. Spend the night in our "Tree Tops Room" surrounded by a hand-painted mural that transforms the room into a canopied tree loft, complemented by a gas fireplace, or don your beret and travel to Paris in our Parisian Room complete with a Jacuzzi!

Located right next door to the Bed and Breakfast is our 1,400 square foot two bedroom cottage with full kitchen, 1 1/2 baths and a large living room. Sit back and relax and enjoy the charm of this rustic coach house!

During the summer, guests can lounge and swim in a private heated pool tucked in the forest, or walk 1/2 block to a Lake Michigan public beach to enjoy spectacular sunsets. Bicycles are available for exploring the scenic lake shore. Awarded "Best BnB in Michigan for 2020" by TripSavvy, awarded TripAdvisor's "Certificate of Excellence" for 2015 through 2018, and TripAdvisor's "Hall of Fame Certificate of Excellence" in 2019. Breakfast features favorites such as prosciutto ricotta omelets, blueberry buttermilk pancakes, croque madame, eggs in a basket, ham and ricotta tarts, French toast with marscapone creme fraiche and fresh berries, raspberry streusel, lemon blueberry loaf or orange cranberry delight! Sherwood Forest can and does accommodate those who require gluten-free meals, or any dietary concerns or allergies.
