LAUGHSHORE COMEDY FESTIVAL

June 22, Saugatuck & Douglas. Varying Locations.

The Laugh Shore Comedy Festival will feature four, 90-minute comedy shows at venues throughout the Saugatuck area. Tickets to each show are $10/person.

Jerry Donovan – Saturday, June 22, 7 p.m. – Ship N Shore, Downtown Saugatuck

Comedian Jerry Donovan performs live at Ship N Shore in Saugatuck, Michigan for Laughshore Comedy festival on June 22 at 7 p.m.

Jerry Donovan’s one-of-a-kind style and rapid fire delivery always leaves audiences in stitches each and every time. Clean Combined with an edge, his talents have taken J.D. nationwide to comedy clubs, venues and movie sets. He has worked with such notables as Kurt Russell, Jason Segal, Larry “The Soup Nazi,” Thomas and many more.

Michael Palascak – Saturday, June 22, 8 p.m. – Coral Gables, Downtown Saugatuck

Most recently, Michael Palascak was named the 2018 Stand-up of the Year by the Late Nite Last Week podcast for his performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. He’s also done stand-up The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CONAN, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Letterman, Comedy Central’s HALF HOUR, was a top 5 Finalist on LAST COMIC STANDING, and this past summer he performed at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival where he taped a set for Kevin Hart’s LOL network. Norm Macdonald said Michael reminds him, “…of a guy that’s just as funny offstage as on, which is like magic.” Michael’s short film You’re Alive was accepted into numerous festivals including the Hollywood Comedy Shorts Festival and was the winner of the Audience Award at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival. Christine Stedman & Cam Rowe – Saturday, June 22, 8 p.m. – Hop & Pizza, Fennville

Cam Rowe is a reality TV personality, stand-up comedian, and failed basketball star from Southfield Michigan. He has been doing comedy for nearly five years. He was a series regular on the TV show Storage Hunters on TRU TV and has also appeared on Comedy Bang Bang!

Christine Stedman can best be described as one funny mother! She has a husband, a twenty-something son who lives at home, a divorced daughter and three grand-kids. She currently headlines in some of the top clubs in the country and has become a favorite at “The Comedy Stop” in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. In 2006, she was chosen to compete in Nick at Nite’s Search for the Funniest Mom in America. She appeared in six episodes and made it all the way to the finale where it came down to only 5 finalists. Ok, she didn’t win—-but just ask anyone who has seen her perform and they will tell you that she is definitely one funny mother! Click here for event tickets.

Dwayne Kennedy – Saturday, June 22, 9:30 p.m. – Christo’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill, Douglas

DWAYNE KENNEDY is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer whose TV writing credits include The Arsenio Hall Show (CBS), The Orlando Jones Show (FX), and the critically acclaimed FX/FXX original series, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.

His satirical diversions and piercing perspective on social and world issues showcase a comedic genius heralded by the likes of Chris Rock and Marc Maron. Described as a “world-class stand-up” by The Village Voice, Dwayne continues to challenge the norm and connect with audiences through his keen, incisive wit. Winner of the 2002 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, Dwayne’s stand-up has been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Premium Blend, Comedy Central Presents, and Talkin’ Dirty after Dark.

Dwayne’s acting credits include roles on Seinfeld, Martin, Amen, 227 and in the feature film How High. He’s also had the distinction of appearing as a correspondent on Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, where one of his popular segments was named the “The Most Intentionally Funny Video of the Day” at Nerdist.
