Saugatuck Second Line - A Mardi Gras Pub Crawl” is ready for Fat Tuesday on February 13th

Red Horse Center, Great Lakes Brass and six of Saugatuck’s favorite watering holes present the fourth annual, Saugatuck Second Line - Mardi Gras Pub Crawl with live music by Great Lakes Brass, while raising funds for Red Horse Center’s Horses Empowering Youth program.

The Saugatuck Second Line lightheartedly draws from New Orleans traditions through a Midwestern lens. You’re invited to join in the experience, walking or dancing in the “second line” of the parade, sharing smiles and laughs as we look forward to the seasons ahead. Dress for the occasion, twirl parasols and wave handkerchiefs, or come as you are. 

Party details, and a chance to order party kits with tee-shirts, beads, boas and parasols, and advance dinner tickets for the Southerner are online. Official start time is 4 pm, with music starting around 4:30 pm. The Second Line will be leaving Wally’s at 5 pm with stops at Phil’s Bar and Grille, the Sand Bar Saloon, The Butler Restaurant and Wicks Park Bar and Grille before ending up at The Southerner with a New Orleans inspired feast.

Saugatuck Second Line brings people together, honors American culture, and contributes to our vibrant community.  Sponsorship proceeds and collected donations go to Red Horse Center for Collaborative Leadership to support their program, Horses Empowering Youth for Allegan County.
