Tea & Trails

Autumn is spectacular in West Michigan. Spending time in the woods as the leaves change color reminds us that we are part of a cycle. It offers an opportunity to reflect on the past year and wind down and plan for the quiet of winter. As stewards of the precious Tallmadge Woods, Ox-Bow is grateful for the gifts nature offers us and our community - both our visitors to campus and those who enjoy the woods for leisure.

If you enjoy a hike to the Crow's Nest, please join us for our new fall series: Tea & Trails on October 8th, 9th and 10th and help support the ongoing care & maintenance of the Tallmadge Woods. We are creating pairings of live music and refreshments with the brilliance of fall sights and scents. Special tea tastings and drinks provided in partnership with Spirit Tea, a Chicago-based tea company that curates a rotating, seasonal collection of farm-direct teas that reflect a unique moment in space and time.

Join us on the Crow’s Nest Trail October 8th or 9th for a Sunset Hike 6pm-8pm or October 10th for a Sunrise Hike 7am-9am. Tickets are a $20.00 donation to our HWA Remediation Fund (more information below) and includes light snacks. Cash bar.
