Labor Day Bridge Walk

The Douglas Police Department will lead the walk with a patrol vehicle at exactly 8:15 AM. Participants will begin at Beery Field and follow a .3-mile route down Washington Street, passing under Blue Star Highway to reach the Veterans Memorial Pathway. From there, the group will cross the bridge connecting Saugatuck and Douglas, make a U-turn, and head back to Beery Field. The total walking distance is .8 miles.

Upon returning to Beery Field, walkers will receive a completion certificate along with complimentary water, coffee, and donuts.

This is a free event! Donations are welcome and will go toward supporting the Saugatuck Recreation Department.
