Description
The Making an Impression Exhibition brings together a vibrant collection of artists whose work explores nature, memory, and form through diverse mediums. Nationally renowned landscape painter Nina Weiss translates the rhythm, form, and color of the Midwest and beyond into lush, dramatic compositions. Betsy “Maggie” Brinks creates ethereal watercolors layered with delicate details, evoking memories of shorelines, mountains, and fields. John Andersen’s visionary old master’s style approach to landscape painting is spiritual and poetic, while Paulina Lucyna elevates ceramics with abstract, nature-inspired forms recalling European grandeur. Andrew Madvin’s masterful glasswork balances fluidity and structure, capturing the material’s endless possibilities. This exhibition invites viewers to experience tranquility, connection, and the beauty of the natural world. Refreshments and live music provided by John Otto. Free event!
