Description
Join the History Center as you travel back to the battlefields of Michigan in the War of 1812. Learn how the earliest of Michigan soldiers organized and struggled to fight against the British. The focus will be on the perspectives of specific units of soldiers, their combat roles and equipment.
The program features Military History Academy educator Jerry Berg leading a presentation on the history and significance of the War of 1812 in Michigan and the Michigan soldiers that fought in it, both American and British, as well as the role that the
Michigan Territory played.
