Art Coast Winter Break Gallery Stroll – February 15-16
Ready for even more inspiration? Shake off those winter blues with the Art Coast Winter Break Gallery Stroll, an enchanting weekend of extended gallery hours, special exhibits, and interactive experiences. Stroll through dozens of galleries and artists’ studios in Saugatuck, Douglas, and Fennville, chat with creators, and witness live demonstrations that bring their artistic process to life. Venetian Festival – July 25-26
Embrace the magic of summer at the Venetian Festival, the quintessential summer celebration in Saugatuck. This year’s theme—Christmas in July—invites you to break out your festive red and green attire for a weekend of fun. Kick off the party on Friday night with an outdoor concert featuring the energetic 1980s dance band Starfarm. On Saturday, join the Dinghy Poker Run on Lake Kalamazoo, where participants race to collect poker cards for a chance at prizes. Wander the picturesque streets of downtown Saugatuck and Douglas, where galleries and studios come alive with extended hours, special exhibits, and live artist demonstrations. Douglas Halloween Parade for Adults – October 25
Let your wild side shine at the Douglas Halloween Parade for Adults, an outrageous and unforgettable celebration of creativity and camaraderie. Costumes, revelry, and a touch of mischief take over downtown Douglas as the Giant Pumpkin King rises from the ashes to kick off the night. Thousands of spectators line the streets to witness the audacious antics and spirited atmosphere. But be sure to leave the kids at home for this legendary event for grown-ups only.

Saugatuck Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony – November 28
Spend Thanksgiving with us and then step into a storybook setting as downtown Saugatuck transforms into a holiday wonderland. Gather at Wicks Park Gazebo for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and sing along with carolers as the tree and the Star on Mt. Baldhead light up in perfect harmony. Free hot chocolate and cookies complete this nostalgic and heartwarming holiday tradition.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks – December 31
