In-Home Dining / Monthly Seasonal Tasting Menus:
Your private dining experience begins with a signature hors d'oeuvre
“hour” followed by a seated, and fully plated and served seasonal
multi-course menu. The evening also includes printed custom menus,
professional server, necessary service wares, and all clean-up,
culminating in a memorable and truly distinctive dining experience in
the comfort of your own home!
Demonstration Dinners:
You pick the theme...then sit back and relax in a professional chefs
kitchen. This is an interactive dining experience tailored specifically to
your groups interests by an award winning Executive Chef. Chef Jim
LaPerriere comes to Southwest Michigan from Northern California and
has spent over forty years mastering his skills. He was classically
trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York,
graduated 1st in his class, and has worked with several of America’s
most prominent Chefs including Mark Miller, Cindy Pawlcyn, and Biba
Caggiano. This is truly an experience above and beyond the ordinary.
Feel free to interact with Chef LaPerriere as he delights your every
sense, while preparing an exquisite multi-course dinner for you and
your guests.
Private Cooking Classes:
Anyone looking for an excuse to broaden their culinary knowledge,
hone their cooking skills, and have a really great time will want to
schedule one of these classes soon. Tucked back in the woods on a
private lake, Chef LaPerriere invites you to join him in his “must see”
demonstration kitchen, featuring a wood fired pizza and bread oven,
twenty feet of work islands, and a wood burning rotisserie fireplace.
Chef Jim LaPerriere will confidently guide you on a culinary journey,
integrating his experiences, philosophies, and tricks-of-the- trade,
while leading you to a successful and rewarding experience in your
own kitchen.
