Summer Fun Cottages

Summer Fun Cottages was founded by the prior owner/operators of Marywood Manor B
& B, which was a successful part of downtown Saugatuck for over 30 years. They know
what it takes to provide a memorable vacation setting. Summer Fun rents their personal
cottages, one in the heart of Saugatuck and the other on the Kalamazoo River, just a short
walk from downtown.
Both cottages underwent major renovations last year which the guests loved based upon
their 5-Star reviews. Each had major kitchen redo's with all new appliances and cabinetry.
Bathrooms were also redone and most of the furniture and furnishings was upgraded.
The Treehouse Cottage is a historic, Riverfront landmark overlooking the Kalamazoo
River connecting Saugatuck and Lake Michigan. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (1-King, 1-
Queen and 1 set of Twin Beds), 2 bathrooms, and comfortably accommodates 6 adults. A
large screened porch is a major attraction of the cottage. It’s an ideal place from which to
watch the boating and river activities. It opens into the kitchen/dining/living Great room and
provides true indoor/outdoor living – without the bugs. There is high-speed WiFi and
Premium cable service on a large Smart TV in the living room along with TVs in every
bedroom. Central HVAC is throughout. A large lawn is on the river level and is ideal for
sunbathing, fishing, family gatherings, lawn games, and restful relaxation. A newer 40 Foot
dock allows the renter free dockage for a power or sail boat and a place to launch canoes,
kayaks, and paddle boards. The cottage is ideally located just a short walk from downtown
activities.
Jan’s Cottage is a charming cozy cottage ideal for a romantic get-a-way, a young family
vacation or a friendly rendezvous. It has an amazing location sitting on a quiet dead end,
cul-de-sac; just around the corner from downtown shops and restaurants. The cottage has
a secluded stone patio off the master bedroom with an umbrella table and chairs and a
chiminea for small fires on a cool night. The large side yard is ideal for picnics, games and
child or pet play. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen and 1 set of Twin Beds) and 1
bathroom. There is Broadband WiFi and Premium cable service with a large SMART TV in
the living room and a smaller TV in the master bedroom. The cottage has central HVAC
throughout. With off-street parking for 2 cars, you’ll always have a parking space - a
premium everywhere downtown. Because of its central location, you’ll enjoy walking
everywhere.
Weekly rentals have priority during the Summer season. However, short term, nightly
rentals are popular in the Spring and Fall. Small dogs are allowed in either Cottage with
prior approval and payment of a Pet Fee. Please read the Pet Policy before requesting a
