The Friday after Thanksgiving, Glenn, Michigan lights up for family fun! Starting at 5 pm, this free event welcomes all for an old-fashioned holiday celebration. Highlights include free family photos in a vintage sleigh, s’mores around the fire pit, roasted chestnuts & chili tasting, crafts & a bake sale with tours of Glenn’s historic schoolhouse, and Santa & Mrs. Claus arriving to the Glenn Square in a horse-drawn carriage at 6 pm. After Santa lights the tree, he and Mrs. Claus lead the crowd to the Glenn Church for a community sing-a-long with Dan Pierce, visits with Santa, a free gingerbread-house raffle for children, homemade cookies, and hot chocolate.
