Description
Virtue is offering this unique tasting in the Barrel House. You’ll taste through 4 cider styles while learning about the history, the cider making process, and how to properly evaluate cider for color, bouquet, taste, and quality.
You will walk away from this experience with a better understanding of why heirloom apples are important, what constitutes a “fruited” style, how to evaluate balance & acidity, why oak-aging is worth the wait, and what can make a cider “funky.” Share the love that guests have for Michigan, taste the bounty of its trees, and take part in a heritage that is centuries old.
