Description
THE JOURNAL PROJECT is a traveling exhibit which has been exhibited in Ann Arbor, Saugatuck, Chicago and Fort Lauderdale. Ruth Crowe’s The Journal Project is a deeply personal, multimedia art installation that visualizes pivotal moments from her life—military service, law enforcement, coaching, and identity struggles—through layered artworks on wood or plastered panels fused with vintage photographs, encaustic textures, and intimate narrative elements. The project earned the prestigious Juried Visibility Award in Art Prize 2024. This is the final exhibit as all pieces will be for sale during the exhibit with a portion of the proceeds going to The Trevor Project.
