Come Play with Clay

The Saugatuck Douglas Art Club invites you to “Play with Clay”. Danielle Hanna will lead a hands-on program to make a fanciful hybrid animal pinch pot from clay. Based on the Alebrijes of Mexico, these spirit animal sculptures were invented by artist Pedro Linares after having a vivid dream, and you will have the opportunity to create one. If you are unsure about your skills just come to watch and learn. It is an irresistible medium that will likely draw you in. This program is free and open to the public.
