The Saugatuck Yacht Club Sailing Program offers summer sailing opportunities for youth ages 5 and up, creating an engaging and supportive environment for sailors of all skill levels. Our lessons are taught in one-week sessions running from early June through early August, making it easy for both local families and visiting guests to participate. Each session is designed to build confidence on the water while teaching essential sailing skills such as boat handling, safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship. From the youngest sailors just getting comfortable on the water to more experienced students refining their technique, the curriculum emphasizes fun, personal growth, and a lifelong love of sailing.
