Wine Tasting Tour at Fenn Valley Winery

Take a behind-the-scenes look at how world-class Michigan wine is made with the Extended Tour experience. Led by knowledgeable staff, this 1 hour and 30-minute tour offers an in-depth look at grape growing and winemaking, with wine samples served throughout. Depending on the season and weather, tours take place in the wine cellar, out in the vineyard aboard the famous “grape train,” or a combination of both. Each tour includes a logo glass to keep and a $5 wine coupon. Designed to be both educational and enjoyable, it’s the perfect outing for wine lovers of all levels.

The extended tour is pretty in-depth. They run about 1:30 in length, and involve wine tasting throughout to illustrate the various points being made.

Depending on the time of year and weather, the long tour takes place in the cellar, in the vineyard, or some combination of both. Tours from July-October are generally conducted in the vineyards. Vineyard tours are conducted using Fenn Valley’s famous “grape trains” giving guests great views of the vineyards during the tour. The extended tour includes multiple wine samples throughout, detailed descriptions of wine making and grape growing and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
