Hidden Garden Cottages & Suites
Welcome to Hidden Garden Cottages & Suites
There are many lodging choices in the Saugatuck area, so why stay with us? We offer the best location, the upmost in privacy and attention to detail that only comes with twenty-seven years of innkeeping.
Hidden Garden Cottages & Suites is situated in the heart of downtown Saugatuck at the corner of Butler and Hoffman Streets. You are steps away from everything Saugatuck has to offer. Most guests never use their cars during their stay with us. Hungry? There are twenty spots to eat within a ten-minute walk. Countless stores, galleries and boutiques line the streets for your shopping pleasure. Grab some lawn chairs and head over to Wicks Park for the Summer Concert series or catch the latest Mason Street Theater performance at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Cross the Kalamazoo River on our historic Chain Ferry and hike to Oval Beach for a day in the sun or relax on the sunset cruise aboard the Star of Saugatuck authentic sternwheeler. It’s all right outside your door.
Our bed and breakfast was built with your privacy in mind. There are no common areas or dining room in which to mingle with other guests. Each cottage and suite has everything you need for a perfect getaway. Hopefully we’ve thought of it all but if there’s something missing, just ask, we are always here. Our approach to breakfast is also designed with you in mind. The last thing anyone wants on vacation is a schedule. We stock your kitchen with a continental breakfast, so you can get up early or sleep until noon, the choice is yours. This is your time to relax, unwind and create some memories.
Twenty seven years of innkeeping has taught us a lot about our guests’ needs and wants. Every compliment, suggestion and criticism has helped us fine tune these rooms, so that your stay is perfect. We are a two-man operation that handles every aspect of the business. There is no staff, just two owners who live on site and are here to answer questions, make suggestions and solve problems. We love what we do, we love Saugatuck and we want you to love it too.
