Description
The Saugatuck Yacht Club was formed in 1934 for the purpose of sharing an interest in water recreation, social gatherings and supporting sailing education for children. SYC encourages active member participation in Club sponsored events including annual activities like the Fish Boil and Burn Your Socks along with programs like Women’s Sailing and Men’s Sailing. The SYC Clubhouse and Sailing Pavilion provide a welcome setting on the Kalamazoo Lake for families and fellowship with friends.
The facilities includes a clubhouse, sailing pavilion with rooftop deck, docks with accommodations for 42 boats, a 20×60 foot saltwater pool, a tennis/pickleball court, a patio with gas grills, and a fully equipped catering kitchen.
Only members in good standing are eligible to rent the SYC facilities. A member in good standing is one who has paid dues for the current year and has been a member for at least a year.
