Serita’s Black Rose from Grand Rapids Michigan has been performing collectively throughout the Midwest United States, Nationally and Internationally. Serita Crowley and Jon Hayes are at it's core, performing together as partners for nearly 2 decades. In 2012, they won WYCE’s Jammie Award for Best Short Form Album with their self titled EP release "Serita's Black Rose Vol. I". In 2013, the duo played an acoustic set as the opener for the legendary Smokey Robinson at Frederick Meijer Gardens. Serita has shared the stage with famous artists such as James Brown, Brian Vanderark of The Verve Pipe, KoKo Taylor, and many more. Serita's fiery, blues- and soul-infused vocals- along with her band Serita’s Black Rose brings out the very best in Funk, Rock, Blues and Soul that you will absolutely love!!
