Self-Guided History Tour of Douglas
Description
Take 45 minutes and learn about a dozen buildings, each over 130 years old. Walk a mile at your own pace on sidewalks or quiet streets. You can read the screen or listen over earphones. Click the “Visit Website” Button to start the tour. This tour is provided by the Saugatuck/Douglas History Center.
The tour starts and ends near the corner of Center & Main, at the blue icon on the map. Before starting, see the instructions below.
General instructions
- The route is marked in red; a yellow highlight means there’s no sidewalk.
- Please stay off private property and do not approach occupants.
- A walking person icon indicates a tour stop.
- Yellow icons offer optional info (no audio).
- Tap an icon for a description.
- Read the text or tap the play button.
- Scroll for more text, links, and images.
- Tap an image or link (red text) to open a new screen; close it to return.
